Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Ascent Training collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit this website or submit an enquiry, demo or counselling request. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) and other applicable law.

1. Who we are

Ascent Training (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated under the An Ascent Tech Solutions Initiative, is an independent SAP training provider based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@ascenttraining.in or +91 70130 66861.

2. Scope

This policy applies to personal information we collect through this website (https://www.ascenttraining.in), our enquiry and contact forms, and communications you have with us by email, phone or WhatsApp. It does not apply to third-party websites we may link to.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry, demo or counselling request, we collect the details you provide, which may include:

  • Your name;
  • Email address;
  • Mobile and/or WhatsApp number;
  • City and country;
  • Course of interest, education level, graduation year and current employment status;
  • Preferred batch and preferred contact method;
  • Any message or additional details you choose to share.

Information we collect automatically. For security, spam prevention and to understand how our site is used, we may collect limited technical information such as your IP address, and — where you arrive from a campaign or referral — the referring page, landing page and campaign (UTM) parameters.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (such as financial account details, health information or government identifiers) through this website. Please do not include such information in the free-text message field.

4. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide information about our courses, fees and batches;
  • To schedule and deliver free demo or counselling calls you request;
  • To provide the training, certification and career-support services you enrol in — including resume preparation, interview preparation, mock interviews and placement assistance;
  • To communicate with you about your enquiry or enrolment by your preferred method;
  • To keep basic records, prevent spam or abuse, and improve our website and services;
  • To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

5. Legal basis and consent

We process your personal information primarily on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or otherwise contact us, and for the legitimate purposes described above (such as responding to your enquiry and running our services). By submitting an enquiry, you consent to being contacted by us about it. You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing info@ascenttraining.in; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Placement assistance: as part of our career-support services, and only where relevant to you, we may share or circulate your CV/profile with prospective employers, recruiters and through relevant professional groups and available channels, to help you access job opportunities. We do not guarantee any employment outcome.
  • Service providers: we use trusted third parties to run our services — for example our website and email hosting provider (which processes enquiry emails on our behalf), and, where enabled, website-analytics tools. These providers process data only on our instructions.
  • Legal reasons: we may disclose information where required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect our rights, safety or property.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses minimal cookies necessary for basic security (for example, a session cookie used for form/CSRF protection). If we enable website analytics (such as Google Analytics), it may set cookies to help us understand aggregate site usage; this is used to improve the site and not to identify you personally. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended if you do.

8. Data retention

We keep your enquiry information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy — typically up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact with you — unless you ask us to delete it sooner, or a longer period is required or permitted by law. Records relating to students who enrol may be kept for longer where needed for legitimate business, accounting or legal purposes.

9. How we protect your information

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including transmitting the website over HTTPS, restricting access to enquiry data, and protecting our forms against spam and abuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you and request a summary of how it is processed;
  • Request correction, completion or updating of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Request erasure of your personal information where it is no longer required;
  • Withdraw consent at any time;
  • Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity;
  • Raise a grievance with us about how your information is handled.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@ascenttraining.in. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

11. Children's privacy

Our courses and this website are intended for adults (18 years and older) and for learners who are of an appropriate age to pursue professional training. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner that requires verifiable parental consent under applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can address it.

12. Learners outside India

We are based in India and deliver training online to learners in India and internationally. If you contact us from outside India, your information will be processed in India under this policy and applicable Indian law.

13. Third-party links

Our website may contain links to external sites (for example WhatsApp or social media). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies separately.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
